BLUEBERRY BREAD 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening, melted
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. blueberries
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg, shortening, milk and vanilla to dry ingredients. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened and then add blueberries and nuts.

Bake at 325 degrees in large loaf pan for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick placed in center of loaf comes out clean.
