M & M CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. plain M & M candy

Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add combined flour, baking soda and salt, and mix well. Stir in candies and nuts. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes (lightly browned). Makes 2 dozen 3 1/2-inch cookies.
