1/2 c. chopped peanuts (opt.)
1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. water
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a criss cross on each cookie with fork prongs that have been dipped in water. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on sheet 1 minute then move to cooling racks.
