HONEY COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 cup milk
3/4 tsp. lemon rind
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, honey, cornsyrup. Alternate dry ingredients with milk and soda. Add vanilla. Chill. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Add flour as needed to roll. Bake until light brown in 350 degree oven. Ice with powdered sugar and cream icing.
