HOMEMADE SUMMER SAUSAGE | |
2 lb. lean ground beef 3/4 c. water 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. Morton Quick salt (meat cure) 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 1 tbsp. mustard seeds Mix all ingredients well. Form into 2 rolls and wrap in foil. Refrigerate 24 hours. With a fork poke holes in foil. Place rolls on broiler rack. Bake at 450 degrees for 1 hour. Slice and serve (hot or cold). |
