CHEESE CRACKERS | |
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 c. butter, softened 3 tbsp. water 1 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. quick or old fashioned oatmeal Beat together cheeses, butter and water until blended. Add flour and salt; mix well. Stir in oatmeal, mixing until thoroughly blended. Refrigerate about 4 hours. Roll out like pie dough onto a greased cookie sheet. Cut into squares with a pastry cutter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove immediately from cookie sheet. Yield: 3 dozen. |
