SKILLET HASH 
2 c. chopped beef
2 c. chopped potatoes
2/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. shortening
Salt and pepper
2/3 c. water

Combine beef, potatoes, onions, salt and pepper. Melt shortening in large skillet over medium heat. Spread beef mixture in skillet. Brown 10-15 minutes, turning frequently. Stir in water. Reduce heat and cover and cook 10 minutes or until crispy.
