OIL FREE MUFFINS 
2 1/4 c. oat bran cereal
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dry fruits (raisins, dates, prunes)
1 1/4 c. skim milk or evaporated skim milk
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. corn syrup

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the milk, egg whites and corn syrup together and blend with dry ingredients. Fill lined muffin pans with batter, dividing equally. Bake 13 to 15 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
