CASSEROLE SURPRISE 
1 lb. hamburger
3 c. shredded cabbage
1 med. onion, chopped
6 slices processed cheese
1 lg. potato sliced
1 c. carrots, sliced thin
10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

Put 3/4 pound hamburger in bottom of cold skillet. Layer vegetables over meat then crumble remaining meat over vegetables. Pour soup over meat and vegetables spreading to edges of skillet. Top with cheese. Cook over medium-low heat (300 degrees) for 30 to 40 minutes until vegetables are done.
