LIME PICKLES 
4 lbs. sugar
2 qts. vinegar

In cloth bag add: 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. mixed pickling spice

1. Soak 7 pounds cucumber, sliced in 2 gallons water and 2 cups lime overnight.

2. Drain and wash. Then soak in clear water for 3 hours; drain.

3. Then soak overnight in this solution: 4 pounds sugar, 2 quarts vinegar. Put the spices in a cloth bag in the solution.

4. The following morning, cook or boil hard 25 to 35 minutes.

5. Put into jars and seal.
