CHOCOLATE CHIP BLOND BROWNIES 
2 c. packed brown sugar
11 tbsp. butter (2/3 c.)
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans (opt.)
6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips

Melt butter in microwave safe bowl. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir dry ingredients together and add. Stir in nuts if desired. Pour batter into well greased and floured 13"x9" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
