1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cooking oil
Food coloring

Mix food coloring and water together in saucepan. Mix together remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes. As mixture pulls away from pan, forming a rubbery ball, remove from heat. Place dough on wax paper and knead immediately until dough is smooth. Store in airtight container.
