CANDIED CARROTS 
2 lbs. carrots
3/4 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Wash carrots; peel and slice. Place carrots in a 2 quart baking dish. Stir in sugar, butter, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender.
