OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt and cinnamon
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Toll House butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.

In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet Bake 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies and 9-10 minutes for crisp cookies.

Makes 4 dozen.
