PEACH PRESERVES 
8 c. peaches
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pkg. powdered pectin
7 or 8 c. sugar

Cook cut up peaches, lemon juice and pectin together and boil hard 1 minute. Add sugar, cook until thick, about 5 minutes, hard boil. Pour into jars and seal. Put in a hot water bath and boil for 10 minutes.
