STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT | |
CRUST: 2 c. crushed thick pretzels (not too fine) 3/4 c. melted butter 3 tbsp. sugar Mix the above ingredients together and form pretzel mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan packing tightly so liquids do not seep through. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. TOPPING: 1 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 8 oz. Cool Whip 1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello 1 (10 oz.) or (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries Beat sugar and cream cheese until blended and smooth. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread on top of pretzel crust and chill. Dissolve Jello in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir in frozen strawberries until dissolved. Let set for 10 minutes. Pour on top and refrigerate until set. Easy recipe and always a big hit. |
