STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. coarsely crumbled pretzels
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (6 serving) size pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen (or thawed) strawberries
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened (can use light)
1 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter with brown sugar in a saucepan; remove from heat. Blend in pretzels and spread in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch oven-proof glass pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool and set aside. Dissolve Jello in boiling water; add cold water and strawberries. Let thicken slightly in refrigerator. Whip whipped topping with cream cheese and sugar. Spread over pretzel mixture. Top with strawberry mixture. Refrigerate and let firm before serving.
