RIBS AND BARBEQUE SAUCE | |
2 slabs of ribs Dash of salt 1 onion (optional) Place ribs in large saucepan. Add water to cover. Dash salt and one onion. Simmer until tender about one hour. Drain ribs. Place in shallow baking pan. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake in 350 degree oven half hour, basting with sauce. BARBEQUE SAUCE: 1 tbsp. butter 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. chili sauce 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. salt Dash bottled hot pepper sauce 3 thin lemon slices. In small saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add all other ingredients and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes. |
