CHOCOLATE SURPRISE CAKE 
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 12-cup bundt pan. In small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until blended. Set aside.

Prepare cake as label directs; fold in chocolate morsels. Pour into bundt pan. Evenly cover with cream cheese mixture. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 45 to 55 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely. Garnish with Cool Whip and maraschino cherries or strawberries.
