CHINESE CHEWS 
1 box light brown sugar
1/3 c. Crisco
3 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Put into large mixing bowl brown sugar, Crisco, eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add flour and mix well. Then add pecans. Bake in a 13x9 pan at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares while warm.
