RICE CASSEROLE 
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme, undiluted
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can French onion soup, undiluted
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. uncooked long-grain rice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped cashews
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Combine consomme, onion soup, 2 tablespoons butter, and rice in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.

Saute onion, raisins, and cashews in 1 tablespoon butter until onion is tender. Sprinkle over cooked rice. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
