GINGER CAKE 
1 box brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

Mix sugar, flour and butter and set aside 1 cup of mixture. To the rest of mixture add soda and seasonings, mixing well. Add eggs and buttermilk, mixing well. Pour into 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle top with reserved cup of sugar mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
