1 lg. apple
1 or 2 tbsp. peanut butter
5 or 6 animal crackers
1 lg. gumdrop
Apple corer (optional)
Sharp knife
Table knife
5 or 6 toothpicks

An adult should: Help with this step. If you have an apple corer, core the apple. Then use a sharp knife to cut a slice off top of apple. Cut 2 more circle-shaped slices. Slices should be no more than 1/2 inch.

Spread thick layer peanut butter over one slice. Stand animal crackers in peanut butter around edge.

Stick 5 or 6 toothpicks through the peanut butter and into apple in a circle near core/hole.

Place second apple slice over toothpicks and press down so toothpicks stick into apple and hold it over the animal crackers like a roof. Put a large gumdrop in the center of the top slice.
