POTATOES AND DUMPLINGS 
6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
Warm water
1/2 stick butter
1 c. milk

Put potatoes in pot and cover with water. Cook 10 minutes. Meanwhile in mixing bowl combine eggs, flour and salt. Slowly add warm water until you have a stiff dough. After potatoes have cooked for 10 minutes, drop batter into boiling potato water by the tablespoonful. Cook about 10 minutes, or until tender. Drain water. In saucepan, melt butter. Slowly add milk to make a white sauce. Pour over potatoes and dumplings, serve.
