1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup nuts, finely chopped
powdered sugar

Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and nuts. Mix well. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400°F for 10 - 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely. Roll in powdered sugar again.

Yield: 4 dozen.
