MAKE AHEAD FRENCH TOAST | |
4 eggs 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 loaf French bread Cut a loaf of French bread into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices. Place slices in greased cake pan. Mix together first 4 ingredients and pour over bread. Flip bread and cover pan. Refrigerate overnight. To Prepare: Either fry the French toast as you usually would or place on a greased cookie sheet in 500 degree oven for 8 minutes. Turn once. (Try the oven method as it works beautifully and is much quicker than frying!) |
