I have made this numerous times, both as - is and modified. It's delicious both ways. I made the last one using a half cup each of barley, rye and whole wheat flour in the mix, a little vanilla, a little cinnamon, hot coffee instead of the water, and poured a little maple syrup on top before baking. Came out nice for a friend's 60th birthday. Thanks for this recipe.
