SMOKED POLISH GOULASH 
2 links smoked Polish sausage (cut in 1/2 inch slices)
1 med. chopped green pepper
1 med. chopped onion
3 to 4 chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 to 1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper

Brown onion and green pepper in shortening. Add tomatoes and sausage. Mix well. Add the catsup and about 1/4 cup water. Mix well and add remaining water. Bring to a boil. Simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve as an entree or as a main dish over cooked rice. Makes about 6 servings.
