SKILLET CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. white cornmeal
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten

Combine ingredients. Pour in greased hot skillet or pan. Hot oven 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
