STRAWBERRY-BANANA TOPPING 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. light rum
3 med. bananas, sliced
6 fresh strawberries, cut in half

Melt butter in a skillet. Add sugar, lemon juice, and rum; stir well. Cook until sugar dissolves, 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add bananas and strawberries, and cook until bananas are soft but not mushy, about 2 minutes. Serve over pound cake or vanilla ice cream.
