POLISH PECAN COOKIES 
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
6 tablespoons butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup pecan halves
Powdered sugar for coating

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar.

Stir in vanilla and milk. Add flour and blend until a smooth, soft dough is formed.

Measure teaspoons of dough and shape into balls, placing a half pecan in the center of each one.

Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still hot.
