DELUXE PECAN-CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
2 3/4 c. flour 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels 2 c. pecans, chopped Preheat oven to 375°F. In a bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, combine butter and brown sugar and beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate bits and pecans. Drop by well rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow to stand 2 or 3 minutes, then remove from cookie sheet onto brown paper grocery bags to absorb some of the grease. Makes 3 to 4 dozen large cookies or 4 to 6 small cookies. |
