HAWAIIAN HAMBURGERS 
10 slices bacon
1 sm. onion
2 lb. hamburger
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)
30 sm. hamburger buns or 12 regular size
Salt & pepper to taste

Chop bacon into 1 inch pieces and fry until crisp. Drain on paper towel and set aside. Cook hamburger, onion and green pepper until browned; drain and season.

Heat tomato soup and grated cheese until cheese is melted. Add to hamburger mixture. Add bacon and let stand until cooled. Scoop out some of the middle of top of buns and fill with hamburger mixture. Wrap individually in foil and store in refrigerator until ready to use.

To heat, preheat oven to 400 degrees and place wrapped hamburgers on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
