CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 1/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar

In bowl combine cake mix, 1 cup oats and 6 tablespoons butter. Mix well until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping. With remaining crumbs, add egg and mix well. Press into greased 9"x13" pan. Spread pie filling over crust. To reserve crumbs add remaining butter, oats, nuts and brown sugar. Mix well. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. When cooled, cut into bars.
