DESSERT BARS SUPREME 
BASE:

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1 egg

FILLING:

1 can ready to spread frosting, vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs

NOTE: Lemon cake mix also works well.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. In large bowl combine base ingredients and mix until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups for topping. Press remaining base into prepared pan.

In large bowl blend all filling ingredients and beat at highest speed until smooth and creamy. Pour filling over crust pressed in pan. Sprinkle reserved crust over filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until firm when pan is lightly shaken. Store in refrigerator.
