TOMATO JAM | |
4 1/2 lbs. ripe tomatoes, peeled 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. cloves Scold and peel tomatoes. Then quarter them. Place in cooking pan and add sugar, vinegar and spice. Cook slowly until thickened and then put in jars. |
