1 pkg. yellow cake mix
16 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed
2 c. vanilla pudding - this can be canned, cooked or instant
Whipped topping
Toasted slivered almonds

Bake cake as directed on package. Cut cake into pieces and arrange in large glass bowl. Cover with strawberries and pudding. Repeat in layers. Cover with whipped topping and sprinkle with almonds.

Angel food - pound cake can be used in place of cake mix.
