GERMAN CHOCOLATE CANDY 
14 oz. pkg. light caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk (divided)
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk. Grease and lightly flour 13 x 9 inch pan. Mix cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts. By hand, stir until dough holds together. Press 1/2 dough into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust. Spread caramels over chips. Crumble rest of dough mix over caramels. Bake 5-8 minutes. Cool slightly and refrigerate 30 minutes to set. Cut into bars.
