COREY B.'S FAVORITE CHOCOLATE
CHIP COOKIES
 
1 c. Crisco or other canned shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
2 c. chocolate chips

Cream together shortening, soda and salt. Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Add slowly flour and chocolate chips. Chill 1/2 hour. Roll into golf - ball sized shape. Put 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake approximately 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
