6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
3 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. cider vinegar

Mix all above ingredients until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring until it thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool. Then add 1/2 teaspoon celery seed and 1 cup mayonnaise. Stir well. Use for potato salad or macaroni salad.
