CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Wesson oil
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, butter and oil. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
