LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE 
8 oz. linguine or spaghetti
3 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 lg. onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
6 1/2 oz. can minced clams, rinsed & drained
1/2 c. clam juice or chicken broth
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. flour

Cook linguine according to package, omit salt. Heat olive oil 1 minute; add onions and garlic; cook uncovered until onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Blend in flour and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Add clams, clam juice, chicken broth and cook stirring 4 minutes longer. Stir in cheese. Add cooked linguine and cook 1 minute longer, tossing well until heated through. Mix in parsley and serve immediately. 10 inch skillet; Serves 4.
