1 lb. butter
8 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
3/4 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Fold in flour and nuts at end. Shape in half moons. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Cookie sheets do not have to be greased. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool. You could roll them.
