PUCKERBRUSH ROAD SALAD 
1 bunch red leaf lettuce
1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
1 sm. Bermuda onion, sliced and separated into rings
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, chilled and drained
1 green pepper, sliced into rings

DRESSING:

1/2 c. mayonnaise (or salad dressing)
1/2 avocado, mashed
2 tsp. chopped chives
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. dill pickle juice
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dill weed

Mix dressing ingredients ahead and refrigerate.

Mix salad ingredients and refrigerate. Toss with dressing just before serving. Serves 6.
