MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
6 MILKY WAY®s 1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Melt bars and 1/2 cup butter over low heat. Beat 1/2 cup butter and sugar in bowl until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour, soda alternately with buttermilk. Stir until smooth. Add melted candy bars. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Bake in oven (350 degrees) in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until top springs back. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove; cool; frost. FROSTING: 2 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. evaporated milk 1/2 c. melted butter Sm. amount of milk (1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 c. marshmallow creme Combine sugar, milk and butter in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat until small amount forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and add chocolate pieces and marshmallow creme, stirring until melted. If necessary, add small amount of milk to spread easily. |
