ROLLED OAT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats

Cream: 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix the boiling water and oats in a large bowl. Let stand 20 minutes. Then mix remaining ingredients in another bowl. Combine with oats and water. Pour into cake pan.

Then mix for topping: 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. coconut

Put on cake. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Best served warm!
