SAUERKRAUT 
28 oz. can sauerkraut
1 ham hock or a bacon rind
2 peppercorns
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 sm. apple, chopped
1 tsp. beef bouillon
1/2 tsp. Accent
1/8 c. sugar
1/4 c. water

Wash and squeeze sauerkraut to drain. Mix all ingredients and steam for 45 minutes on low burner. Serve with Knackwurst.
