CRESCENT COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
5 c. flour
1 cake yeast
5 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 pt. sour cream

Mix butter and flour until it looks like cornmeal. Then add yeast, eggs and salt. Then add lemon and sour cream. Mix well. Then make small balls. Put in refrigerator overnight. Roll out in powdered sugar.

FILLING:

5 egg whites, beat stiff
1 c. sugar
1 lb. ground nuts

Temperature 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
