CHICKEN BAKE | |
1 c. bread crumbs 1 tsp. basil 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 chicken (about 3 lb.), cut up 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1 egg, beaten 2 zucchini, cut in 2" wedges In a bag, combine bread crumbs, salt, basil, onion salt and pepper. Combine egg and lemon juice in shallow dish. Rinse chicken parts and dry. Dip chicken and zucchini pieces into egg mixture and then coat with bread crumbs. Place in lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes or until chicken is golden brown. May be served hot or cold. (If you use Italian bread crumbs, you can eliminate spices.) |
