STUFFING TOPPED PORK CHOPS | |
6 pork chops (3/4" thick) 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. chopped celery 2 tbsp. finely minced onion 2 c. soft bread crumbs 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2-1 tsp. dried sage 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (8 oz.) can cream style corn Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown chops. Remove chops to 13" x 9 1/2" x 2" pan; add water and cover pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake 1 hour. Prepare stuffing; melt butter in small skillet, add minced celery and onion and saute; add to bread crumbs and seasonings. Toss with corn. Spoon stuffing over chops. Bake 1/2 hour longer, uncovered. Makes 6 servings. |
